Commè des garcon nails… and again, SQUARE (wtf) are you all wondering who 2020 Sophie is? Because I am 😂🧐 Using my fave @the_gelbottle_inc “Teddy” BIAB ❤️ ⠀ ⠀ Been listening to so many podcasts recently and my favourite most recently was how to stop thinking about work in your own time- as you know, im an all or nothing person, I dont have an inbetween so its very important for me to have a clear space between what is work time and what is “me” time. So many times ive been sat (as you may see) doing work weather that be messages, instagram captions, editing way past to when I should be (and I know you all will be doing this too!) ⠀ ⠀ Your brain has CONNECTIONS to work and even though the brain seems to be clever there’s actually some simple steps to seperating yourself from work brain. Here are some that im going to put in place myself! ⠀ ⠀ 1- Having a special place in my house to do work. I like doing mine in our snug. Theres no TV in there and just a record player so love sitting with it on and getting on with some work. But when you leave the room, leave your work in there! Wether that be logging out of instagram or leaving your work phone in there, you know what works for you! ⠀ ⠀ 2- When you get in from work, if you’re still working, leave your work clothes on! If you put on your pjs and carry on working, will you really be able to relax once your finished? Change once your finished and trust me you will be able to relax easier! ⠀ ⠀ 3- One of the best things ive done is use “time limit” , its just on your iPhone settings and switches off your apps either after a certain time (be it 20:00) or after a certain amount of time on your phone (for example an hour) it really helps me switch off and not be tempted to use my socials again. ⠀ ⠀ How do you help seperate work and real life?
